Our Story
Beer is the coolness of warm seasons, the foam of warm friendships, and the companion to pleasant conversations.
Although its history in our country is known to date back to 1890, 45 years earlier, Hulda Clara Prokopp, from a Levantine family, was filling her handcrafted beer into porcelain bottles in Punta, Izmir, and offering it to the joy of Izmir.
Clara Prokopp’s story makes us feel how a brave and free woman from Izmir reshaped the city’s culture. The laughter, sincere conversations, shared meals, and handcrafted beers heard in the streets of Punta are perhaps the cornerstone of today’s Alsancak.
We, too, want to continue Clara’s passionate adventure, inspired by her, from yesterday to tomorrow in Punta, Izmir, with the Madame Prokopp™ brand.
For this reason, we are thrilled to showcase the unique flavors of all the local beers in our country, complemented by the menus we have prepared. With good music, excellent service, and friendly smiles, we are preparing for celebrations once again in a historic Izmir house, just like in 1845.
